Valley Truck Outfitters, Ltd. opened for business in June, 1997 in North Lima, Ohio, through the partnership of Scott H. Mason and Alan W. Smith. The store quickly outgrew its facility, leading to the decision to construct a larger building to house the expanding inventory and to better service the needs of their customers.
The new store, in Poland, Ohio, opened its doors in March, 2004.
Scott owned and operated Car Cleen Supply Co. for 19 years; Alan formerly managed the aftermarket division of State Chevrolet, and Hartland Truck & Van.
Together, they have 43 years of experience in the automotive industry.
The balance of the staff has a combined total of 28 years in the automotive industry.
